As part of our 2011 residency with Natalie Jeremijenko at the Environmental Health Clinic, we investigated different bodies of water around NYC, including: The Gowanus Canal (Brooklyn), a water fountain in Central Park (Manhattan), Inwood Park wetlands (Manhattan), The East River (Bronx), Newtown Creek (Queens) and a stagnant bucket of water on the rooftop of Postmasters Gallery (Manhattan).

We took a water sample from each location and video-recorded our observations through a compound microscope, to be used in future workshops and exhibitions.
