Jacqui set up an Art-Science Laboratory at St John’s Primary School in Mullumbimby during National Science Week 2015. The series of workshops was presented grades 3-4 and 5-6 with the assistance of teacher Tracy Taitoko.

It was a busy day that involved microscope observation drawing, watercolour painting from electron scanning microscope source imagery, and a large mixed media collaborative drawing using overhead transparencies that all four classes contributed to.

We discussed scale, invisible worlds, butterfly wings and nanotechnology among many other wonderful things, with beautiful and interesting art work produced.
